Pregnancy loss can be shocking and devastating for couples. A mixture of complicated emotions may appear that are hard to understand and deal with. Friends and relatives may not be equipped to provide you with support that actually feels good and helps, however well-intentioned they may be. You and you partner may not be able to support each other and be patient and understanding when you are both so upset. As a result, a person may come to feel isolated and hopeless.
If medical procedures are happening, couples can experience a profound sense of loss if a much-hoped procedure doesn't result in anything except a smaller bank account and a lot of crying. It's normal to experience difficult emotions, projections, defensiveness and communication problems during times like this. If you need help talking to each other, we can help.
Counseling can support you while you grieve the losses. When you and your partner feel ready to try to conceive again, counseling can help you manage your anxiety and feelings of vulnerability and help you focus on having a safe and healthy pregnancy.
