10 Things to Think About if You're Considering Therapy

1. The main reasons(s) I wanted to see a therapist are:
2. What I have tried so far to fix that, and how it worked:
3. What I would like to see happen in this situation is:
4. I do not like when this happens:

Common Reasons Why People Attend Therapy

Many times people wonder whether they should go to therapy or not. They wonder why other people go to therapy. They wonder if it could help in their situation. Sometimes they are worried that a relationship is too far gone to save, or they are having trouble recovering from a traumatic situation. Maybe they want to set goals or get out of a rut. All of these concerns can be assisted by application of constructive, science-based concepts in individual, couples or family therapy.
To start, relax on my zen green sofa, and simply tell me what's going on. As you hear yourself talking about everything, clarifications and insights will begin to emerge. Symptoms and negative emotions start to ease, and you may dare to be hopeful again.

If you seem to be stuck in a pattern you do not like, or are experiencing traumatic or aggravating situations, Therapy and Relationship Coaching can be helpful. If you sometimes feel like you're going crazy, and don't know what to do, I'll probably tell you, "You know what, you're not that crazy at all! So many people are going through the same situation. You are a work in progress."  Sometimes clients need to understand that what they are experiencing is a normal process of life span development.

You'll feel relieved knowing that your life is evolving, and often what's needed is working on practical skills with an experienced therapist to help you get more of what you want moving forward. I'm here to help you with that.
